Contact your branch committee HERE!

School Reps and Committee members are all ordinary members of the union who have agreed to help out with the jobs that need doing. All members are eligible to take on any of these roles. Please email the Secretary or Chair if you are interested.

School Reps

The School reps act as first point of contact for information, advice or issues that may arise in your day-to day work. They should be able to find the best person or resources to help you further.

Committee Members

Committee Members have nobly agreed to take on specific responsibilities to keep the branch running. These roles are elected by the membership at the AGM or at other general meetings during the year if required.

Get Involved

The union only exists because of its members. We all need to contribute. If you see a committee role that needs to be filled or a school that would benefit from additional reps please do get in touch. The UCU nationally offers training and support for new reps and many of the roles carry some workload remission.

It is a tough time for Higher Education and there has never been a better time to get involved...
